Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, Saddi and her family moved to Cary, NC in 2001. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in International Relations. Her fondest memory from college was her 2-month study abroad experience in Guatemala. After graduation, Saddi joined the AmeriCorps program to work with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity in Operations Management. She is thrilled to be a part of the Cox family!
Saddi loves her mom’s cooking and (unsuccessfully) trying to replicate her recipes.
Spencer Charles, III is a native of Eutaw, Alabama. His broad range of experience as an Executive Manager, Real Estate Manager, and Corporate Recruiter has afforded him the opportunity to design and deliver solutions for a dynamic group of clients and fortune 500 companies including Ford, Chrysler, and IBM. Spencer takes great pride in being able to help those most in need in the community. As a Real Estate Manager with the Atlanta Housing Authority, he strategically managed and moved a caseload of 300 families out of economically depressed areas to healthy mixed income communities through the US Government and HUD’s section 8 program.
Spencer holds a dual BBA degree in Finance and Marketing from Kennesaw State University and is slated to complete his MBA in the spring of 2016.
In his spare time, Spencer volunteers as a High School Football Coach and is a big supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide where he frequently attends coaching clinics and games. Most importantly, he loves being at home with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
Elizabeth is excited to be joining this program after being with Cox Media Group for 2 ½ years as a Human Resources Coordinator supporting CMG Corporate, five television stations, and one radio station. With a background in HR and journalism, she is looking forward to seeing how her previous experiences can correlate to project management. Elizabeth graduated from Emory University with a degree in Journalism and Sociology.
In her spare time, Elizabeth gives tours at a local brewery, enjoys trying new foods, and exploring parts of Atlanta she has never seen.
Anne Marie Hodgson
Anne Marie is a May 2015 graduate from Clemson University with a major in Marketing and a minor in Spanish. At Clemson, she built her skills in marketing research and strategy by leading an independent study for Guy Harvey Inc. to evaluate the social media and online presence of Guy Harvey's "Great Shark Race" in addition to several marketing research and strategy class projects.
She is joining the LEAD Program after interning with the Cox Media Marketing Communications team, where she used both creative and analytical thinking for research, product, lead, and demand generation initiatives. She is excited to bring her research and analytical skills to the LEAD Project Management Program.
A Maryland native, Anne Marie enjoys all types of outdoor activities, especially running where she can explore her new home town of Atlanta. She also enjoys cooking all types of food any time she can.
Buddy is originally from Georgia and comes to us from the healthcare field. He has an undergraduate degree in economics and a master's in business administration.
Buddy enjoys sports, spending time with his family, good music and being outdoors as much as possible.
Fedner is a recent graduate from Duke University with a Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Medieval & Renaissance Studies. He joins this program with a background in event planning, marketing, and account management.
Although project management is a new venture, Fedner hopes to bring creativity and storytelling into this new role. He is most proud of leading the rebranding of Duke University’s Last Day of Classes Concert, which included an overhaul of the LDOC website and the creation of a new wellness campaign.
Casually obsessed with HGTV and Netflix; he spends most of his weekends debating the pros and cons of laminate versus hardwood floors and what new show to binge watch on Netflix. Fedner is extremely excited to start his professional career as a LEAD Participant with Cox Communications!
Meghan graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in advertising, a minor in sociology, and a certificate in new media. During her time at UGA, she held numerous leadership positions in philanthropic and professional organizations that piqued her interest in project management.
Before joining Cox Communications, she interned at an SEO consulting company where she learned business analysis, digital marketing, and content management. She is excited to bring her skills in relationship building, problem solving, and teamwork to the LEAD program. Meghan enjoys playing soccer, racquetball, music, and reading.
Laurie is a recent graduate of Auburn University, where she majored in Finance and was a member of the Honors College. Having spent the summer traveling in Europe - eighteen cities and ten countries - she is eager to put her customer service and analytical experience to use as part of the LEAD Program. Originally from Austin, Texas, Laurie is enthusiastic about exploring new places and looks forward to discovering Atlanta.
In addition to travel, Laurie's hobbies include cooking and spin classes. She is especially passionate about live music, and is always on the lookout for new acts to follow. On Saturdays you can find her watching college football and cheering on her alma mater. War Eagle!
Andre, an Atlanta native, is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and a minor in African American Studies. During his tenure at the university, Andre was both a leader and member of numerous organizations that helped him to gain experience and develop a passion for project management.
Prior to joining Cox Communications, Andre served as an intern for a top Fortune 500 company and also worked for a consulting firm, specializing in strategy. He is excited for the opportunity to learn and grow as a participant of the LEAD program and to become a part of the Cox family!
In his spare time, Andre enjoys being a part-time foodie, traveling, playing basketball, collecting African-American literature, and volunteering in his local community.
Lauren joins the LEAD Program at Cox Communications with a background in marketing analytics and leadership experience. She received her B.A. in Economics and Sustainability from Emory University. Lauren worked in the marketing department at Goizueta Business School on projects including fan equity research that has been influential in the world of sports analytics.
Lauren is eager to bring her passion for solving business issues into project management at Cox Communications. As an Atlanta native, Lauren has been involved in the community with urban improvement initiatives such as urban farming. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys fly fishing, playing soccer, and traveling.
