Originally from Cartersville, Georgia, Ambica attended the University of Georgia and graduated in May 2019. During her time at UGA, Ambica studied marketing, with an emphasis on digital marketing because it is ever-emerging in the digital economy. As she started her junior year, Ambica participated in the William E. and Barbara H. Annie is a Georgia Tech graduate with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Social Justice. While in school, she enjoyed getting involved in different areas of campus, including becoming a DJ for WREK radio, writing for the school’s newspaper, and studying abroad in Buenos Aires. However, she invested most of her time in developing an arts culture at her technical institute by leading think tanks, creating a student organization, and working with school administration. Her love for the arts persists as she continues to get involved in the Atlanta arts community, paint, and design floral arrangements.
Annie also pursued internships at Coca-Cola, GE, Mailchimp, and other companies that peaked her interest in project management. Humorously enough, it was actually her part-time job as a farmer's market clerk for a flower farm that solidified her decision to pursue it. She realized she couldn’t help but work outside of work hours to figure out ways to improve the farm’s efficiency and essentially make everyone else’s jobs easier. As an Atlanta native, Annie is ecstatic to join the Cox team and continue problem solving amongst her peers in the LEAD Program.
